PUNCAK - The Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, under the operational command of the Indonesian Armed Forces HABEMA, showcased its dedication to the community by distributing free packages of basic necessities to residents of Wombru Village, Mageabume District, on Friday, December 27, 2024. The initiative, led by the Pintu Jawa Post and First Lieutenant Caroko, marked the commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) while reinforcing their commitment to uplifting the well-being of local communities.
Acknowledging the need to address fundamental community concerns, Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, Commander of the 323 Task Forces, encouraged the Soldiers to prioritize initiatives that directly benefit local residents. Since their deployment to Papua, the Pintu Jawa Post has integrated territorial activities into their operations, fostering strong relationships with the surrounding communities.
The visit to Wombru Village reflected this approach, with Soldiers engaging warmly in social communication while distributing essential packages. The joy and gratitude were evident in the smiles of the residents, who felt the genuine care and connection extended by the Soldiers.
One resident, Mama Mirna Turib, expressed her heartfelt appreciation: “Thank you, Commander 323. God bless you.”
HABEMA Commanding General Brigadier General Lucky Avianto commended the Soldiers for their impactful gesture, emphasizing: “The 323 Task Forces’ initiative exemplifies TNI’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling community needs and supporting the acceleration of development in Papua.”
This thoughtful act of service goes beyond providing essential items—it strengthens bonds, fosters hope, and reaffirms the Indonesian Armed Forces’ role as protectors and partners in progress.
